Just a couple of idiots with a passion for noodling who happen to make t-shirts.
Cody Buell, Owner
Looking back at my 33 years worth of adventures, you could definitely say I enjoy living life to the fullest. I have worked at the chemical weapons depot for the Federal government, caught endangered bats, and even horse wrangled out in Colorado. Currently, I’m an environmental manager in East Tennessee who is just trying to make a small difference in the world.
Originally from Paint Lick, Kentucky, I have always enjoyed spending time outdoors. When I'm not at work, I spend most of my time hanging out with my dog, Cleatus, playing soccer, and, of course, noodling. I have been lucky enough to travel the world, dive with bull sharks, be on the news several times, hang-glide, bull ride, and just all around enjoy life.
When I first got started with noodling, I figured it would just be another adventure to add to the list. I had no idea it would become such a huge part of my life. I tried it for the first time right after I moved to Tennessee and was instantly hooked. I love the thrill I get when I fight a fish on his turf, and how there is always a bigger fish to chase.
Catfistin Kings all started as a hobby to help provide artisanal koozies and shirts to the downtrodden noodlers who so often lack representation in the fishing world. Now I'm excited to share my adventures with the noodling community. Whether you’re new to the game, or been noodling for a while, I hope you enjoy the community Catfistin Kings aims to create.
